SNH Strategic Partners is seeking a Senior Procurement Consultant to lead sourcing and procurement strategies across portfolio companies, primarily through BST engagements. This highly visible role is critical in delivering measurable financial savings, improving operational efficiency, and positioning procurement as a key strategic function. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong mix of analytical rigor, strategic insight, and operational execution experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute procurement transformation initiatives to optimize cost structures, standardize processes, and elevate procurement as a strategic business partner.

Partner with portfolio company leadership to assess current-state procurement capabilities and define sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities. Drive financial savings by conducting detailed cost analyses, leveraging market benchmarks, and identifying opportunities for vendor consolidation or renegotiation. Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with suppliers to enhance value, manage risk, and ensure service quality. Develop and implement category management frameworks and supplier performance programs. Monitor and report procurement KPIs to support long-term cost management strategies. Act as a trusted advisor to procurement teams and executive stakeholders, offering guidance on capability building and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in finance, operations, legal, and IT to support seamless procurement integration. Travel as needed to portfolio companies to conduct on-site assessments and support project delivery and change management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain consulting; private equity exposure is a plus. Proven track record in delivering cost savings, optimizing vendor portfolios, and enhancing procurement maturity. Proficient in procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, or Coupa, and familiar with data analysis tools.

Strong understanding of procurement best practices, compliance standards, and strategic sourcing methodologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience across multiple industries (healthcare, industrials, logistics, technology) is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence executive-level stakeholders. SNH Strategic Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
