In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the social media strategy for a luxury automotive client, focusing on increasing brand awareness, improving marketing efforts, and enhancing sales and performance. As a Social Media Strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all our social media accounts in a cohesive way.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport strategy directors in developing content and social strategies based on the client's brand objectives, KPIs, audiences, message, and voice, as well as on macro and locally relevant cultural trends and insights, overall industry best practices, intelligence, and media performance data.Provide hands-on project work, briefs, strategic POV and recommendations to inform content development for connection moments and tactics, creative approaches and to answer clients’ business challenges and requests.Partner closely with account, creative, social and operations teams, and any other capabilities, to deliver and implement best-in-class innovative strategies. Approach all work with a data and culture mindset, global and local relevance lens, and a scaled content and performance rigor.Provide thought leadership on content marketing vision and best practices for the marketing of today and tomorrow, powered by AI, fueled by cultural context, trends and conversations, and think dynamically about the evolution of creative media, performance marketing, content creation, and communication planning.Conduct audience trend and competitive analysis regularly to inform clients and creative team as to white space for our brand to playWork closely with analytics team to inform creative briefs, enabling creative teams to create original, high-quality content that aligns with the brand's voice and resonates with the target audienceLiaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative, appealing, and optimized for each social media platformFacilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews, and organize chats and Q&A sessions)Prepare weekly and monthly reports on social media performance and audience engagement in collaboration with the Data Team.Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices in the automotive industryBackground & SkillsProven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or Social Media Manager, preferably in the automotive industryHands-on experience using social media for brand awareness and community buildingUnderstanding of social media metrics and analytics toolsAn ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them, specifically for automotive brands known for their luxurious, innovative, and high-performance vehiclesFamiliarity with social media content creation and publishing best practicesExcellent multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneouslyBS degree in Marketing or relevant fieldStrong understanding of the automotive industry and its unique social media challenges and opportunitiesExceptional communication and presentation skillsFluency in English (additional language skills are a plus)At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range.
