Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Care Worker located in Kilkenny. The Social Care Worker will be responsible for providing direct care and support to children and young people in residential settings, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. The tasks include building positive relationships, implementing care plans, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and promoting a safe and nurturing environment. The role also involves documenting progress, attending meetings, and participating in ongoing training and development. Qualifications Strong skills in building positive relationships and implementing care plansExperience in working with children and young people, preferably in a residential or similar settingKnowledge of trauma-informed practices and person-centred approachesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to document progress and participate in meetings effectivelyCommitment to ongoing training and professional developmentRelevant qualifications in Social Care, Psychology, or related field
