Leading the operation of social & influence capability – as well as the transformation - of the brand's social media work in ASEAN South Pacific is one of the biggest social media jobs in the entire region. We expect you to be the ultimate hybrid – operation and account management (client relations). We rely on you in bringing order and organization to a fast-paced, creative environment across the ASP region, bringing order and organization to a fast-paced, creative environment. You will pioneer new ways of working with a network of agencies to create and deliver a best-in-class social media presence at both the regional and local market levels. The ideal candidate is an operations expert with a strong point of view on workflow process, resourcing, and fiscal management, who thrives on building bridges and connecting with people to get things done.What You’ll DoOperational Excellence & Efficiency:Lead change management initiatives that improve processes, optimize team structure, and leverage technology to drive consistency and efficiency in our work.Apply a systems mindset to scale efficiently, reduce manual work, and simplify complex processes.Create and implement workflow processes, leveraging tools and technology to effectively plan and manage high-volume, social-first work.Drive operational efficiencies across markets, coordinating with multiple parties to ensure timely delivery of all projects.Evaluate project risks and implement preventative measures to mitigate future challenges.Project & Delivery Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality.Act as the central gatekeeper for all new social and influence inquiries, triaging new briefs by accurately identifying the scope, timing, and difficulty of the work.Partner with capability leads and social team to identify and allocate the right working teams for new briefs, ensuring optimal and seamless delivery - highlighting the need for additional support for flex team and securing freelancers as necessary.Manage large scopes of work, ensuring the avoidance of scope creep and duplication through clear communication and change request processes.Collaborate with OU Studio PMOs and local market integrators to manage timelines, update status reports, and track financial performance.Ensure client needs are met by negotiating deadlines, re-prioritizing tasks, and flagging any risks to delivery.Team Leadership & Collaboration:Directly oversee and mentor a team of social operations professionals, assigning clear responsibility for tasks and setting clear objectives.Build and inspire a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team environment that empowers individuals to deliver their best work.Work cross-functionally with creative, strategy, analytics, and account teams to ensure seamless campaign development and execution.Become a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, striking the right balance between protecting client and agency interests.Commercial & Financial AcumenPartner with the ASP Studio Lead and commercial teams to develop scopes of work (SOWs), commercials, and service level agreements (SLAs).Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery of all social and influence initiatives.Partner with finance and commercial leads on cost-saving initiatives, recruitment strategies, and performance tracking.What You’ll Need 8+ years of proven experience in digital and social media marketing, with significant time in agency leadership roles.A strong track record as an operations expert, with proven experience developing and executing successful social strategies for global brands.Exceptional client management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and provide strategic counsel to senior stakeholders.Strong financial acumen, including budget management, contract negotiation, SOW development, and resource allocation.Proven experience leading, motivating, and mentoring high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.A history of managing ambitious and ongoing change at a senior level.You are calm under pressure, have an extremely high level of attention to detail, and excel at bringing order to chaos.How We’ll Support YouOgilvy celebrates its people.
