DecisionPoint seeks a Social Listening/Intelligence Analyst to deliver daily, weekly, and monthly insights derived from social media conversations, digital sentiment patterns, audience behavior, and emerging issues relevant to MC&FP mission areas. This role monitors social platforms, identifies trends, detects potential risks, and provides actionable intelligence to support communications, campaign planning, and stakeholder engagement priorities.The Social Listening/Intelligence Analyst transforms raw social signals into clear, decision-ready insights through dashboard monitoring, narrative reports, and issue summaries. This position collaborates with campaign, analytics, O&E, and leadership teams to support proactive messaging and rapid-response readiness.This position is fully remote. Note By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid.**The Social Listening/Intelligence Analyst willConduct daily monitoring of social platforms, forums, and digital ecosystems to identify sentiment shifts, key conversations, emerging issues, and relevant trends. Produce comprehensive weekly and monthly social intelligence reports with insights, narrative summaries, and data-backed recommendations. Use social listening tools and dashboards to track keywords, brand mentions, sentiment, influencers, and conversation volumes. Identify potential risks, misinformation, or sensitive issues requiring communication team awareness or escalation. Support campaign planning by providing insight into audience interests, reactions, and content engagement patterns. Analyze conversation themes and recommend content, messaging, or engagement adjustments. Maintain social listening libraries, keyword taxonomies, and analytic frameworks. Support quarterly and annual strategic insights briefings for leadership. Partner with analytics teams to integrate social intelligence into enterprise reporting. Track competitive and community conversations to identify gaps and opportunities. Contribute insights for crisis communication readiness and scenario planning. Clearance RequirementCandidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.Education (Required)Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Data Analytics, or a related field.Experience (Required)Minimum 5 years of experience conducting social listening, digital intelligence, or audience analytics. Experience producing structured social intelligence reports and issue summaries. Experience using enterprise listening tools such as Meltwater, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, or similar. Experience analyzing sentiment, conversation themes, audience behavior, and trend signals. Technical Knowledge (Required)Strong understanding of social listening methodologies, dashboards, and query setup. Ability to interpret social data and translate findings into actionable insights. Familiarity with sentiment modeling, influencer mapping, and issue detection. Technical Knowledge (Preferred)Experience supporting communications in federal or DoD-aligned environments. Knowledge of metadata tagging, taxonomy management, or data visualization tools. SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating data into narrative insights. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple monitoring streams and reporting cycles simultaneously. Strong collaboration skills for working with campaign, analytics, and leadership teams. Ability to provide clear, concise insights under tight timelines.
