About This OpportunityWe’re looking for a creative and community-minded Social Media and Website Coordinator to assist the Narrogin Visitor Centre — a key hub for promoting local tourism, attractions, and events across the Shire of Narrogin and the wider Wheatbelt region.Key DutiesCreate engaging social media content (posts, photos, stories, and reels) for Facebook and Instagram.Assist with maintaining and updating the Visitor Centre’s website, ensuring information about attractions, businesses, and events is accurate and current.Design simple marketing materials and visuals using Canva.Support seasonal campaigns and promotions to encourage visitation and local participation.Liaise with staff to highlight tourism initiatives, local events, and visitor experiences.Skills And ExperienceBasic knowledge of Canva or other design tools is recommended.Experience working with website builders (preferably Joomla, though not required).Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.Good written communication skills and an eye for design or storytelling.An interest in local tourism, community promotion, or marketing.About The OrganisationThe Shire of Narrogin supports a vibrant, welcoming community in the heart of the Wheatbelt.
