TALA, known for activewear that keeps up with busy lifestyles, has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Built on largely organic socials, today we are a digital-first, multichannel women’s athleisure brand with a multi-faceted growth and retention strategy, trading on impressive numbers. TALA recently opened a 2,000-square-foot, double-fronted Store on London’s iconic Carnaby Street as part of our ambitious growth strategy, backed by a recent funding round.We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join Tala’s global marketing team. In this role, you will help grow Tala’s online presence, engage our community and ensure our digital storytelling reflects the voices and values of the people we serve.This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about digital content, social storytelling and social impact.This full-time role will report directly to the Brand Marketing Manager and will be based at our office in SW London.TasksDay to day you will:Support the day-to-day management of Tala’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and others)Draft, schedule and publish content that aligns with Tala’s brand voice and marketing calendarEngage with the online community by responding to comments, messages and customer enquiries in a brand-appropriate wayMonitor social media trends, cultural moments and competitor activity to identify engagement opportunitiesAssist with content ideation, visual asset requests and copywriting for social posts and campaignsTrack performance metrics and prepare regular reports on engagement, reach and sentimentStay up to date with platform updates and best practices to keep Tala ahead of the curveRequirementsYou should:Be highly organised with strong attention to detailA great communicator - written, verbal, and visualProactive and able to manage multiple tasks and timelinesA natural team player with a ‘can-do’ attitudeComfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environmentKeen interest in fashion, sustainability, and branding is a plusSkills & Experience1–2 years of experience in social media or digital marketing (internship experience counts)Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong sense of tone and storytellingProficiency with social media management tools such as Iconosquare, Sprout and Meta Business Suite is a plusFamiliarity with Canva, CapCut or similar design tools is a plusCreative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and audience-relevant contentThorough understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok)Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting toolsStrong organisational skills, proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple prioritiesCulturally aware and adaptable, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiencesExcellent time management and multitasking abilitiesAbility to research and stay current with industry trendsBenefitsWhat we can offer:A competitive salary and packageFun, start-up working culture including: team social events, brand collaborations, sample sales, and awardsA sense of mission and contribution to the greater goodExperience in a high-profile, fast-growth, VC-backed startupEmployee discount and allowance on the best sustainable athleisure clothing in the UKBeautiful and bright offices in a historic building in central London (near Vauxhall) with other startups on siteAbout us:TALA is an activewear brand built to actively solve problems without creating new ones for people, the planet, or anyone else.
