Job Title: Social Media Executive – Political CampaignsLocation: Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, Punjab Job Summary:The Social Media Executive will be responsible for developing and executing digital strategies to promote political campaigns, student initiatives, and public engagement programs at Chandigarh University. The role involves managing online presence, content creation, analytics, and community engagement to enhance brand visibility and political messaging effectiveness across social platforms.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement social media strategies aligned with campaign goals and university communication objectives.Research audience preferences, trending political topics, and digital behavior to inform campaign strategies.Assist in planning digital outreach for student elections, awareness drives, or political events hosted on campus.2. Content Creation & ManagementCreate, curate, and publish engaging content (graphics, videos, reels, infographics, posts) tailored for each platform (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).Write copy that reflects the tone and messaging of political campaigns or public communications.Coordinate with the design and video production teams for high-quality multimedia content.3. Campaign Execution & MonitoringManage day-to-day social media operations for political figures, student leaders, or university-backed initiatives.Execute targeted ad campaigns and monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions).Track competitor activity and emerging digital trends in political communication.4. Engagement & Community BuildingRespond to comments, messages, and public queries in a professional, timely manner.Foster meaningful online engagement with students, youth, and local audiences.Manage influencer or student ambassador collaborations to amplify campaign messages.5. Reporting & AnalyticsMonitor KPIs and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.Analyze insights to optimize content strategy and campaign effectiveness.Present performance data and improvement strategies to senior management.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in political or institutional campaigns.Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, SEO, and analytics platforms (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.).Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.Creative mindset with attention to detail and an understanding of current political trends.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred:Prior experience managing university-level campaigns, political pages, or public figure accounts.Knowledge of ethical guidelines and communication policies for political content on campus.Interested candidates can share CV at 8699692878RegardsRiya SharmaSr. Executive HR
