About Somnia:We are building Somnia, a fast and cost-effective EVM-based blockchain, to achieve this. Somnia is a layer-one blockchain with full EVM compatibility, capable of processing over 1,000,000 transactions per second with sub-second latency and low fees. This will unlock a new wave of on-chain applications. Initially, we are focusing on gaming, metaverse, and social experiences. But we are not even 100% certain of what can be built with the technology we are creating.Somnia is being developed by Somnia Foundation backed by Improbable, a British start-up that has been at the forefront of building virtual worlds for over a decade. Somnia received initial funding from MSquared, which raised $150 million in funding from a16z crypto, SoftBank, Mirana Ventures, CMT Digital, and SIG.The RoleWe're looking for a Social Media Manager who thinks strategically and executes flawlessly. You'll own our social presence on X and LinkedIn, developing our brand narrative and creating content that resonates with the Web3 community.This isn't just about posting - you'll shape our positioning, craft our voice, and build a content strategy that drives awareness and engagement in the crypto space.What You'll DoDevelop and execute our social media content strategy across Twitter/X and LinkedInCreate compelling content (tweets, threads, posts) that drives engagement and grows our audienceShape our brand narrative and positioning in the Web3 ecosystemCollaborate closely with our content writer to align social strategy with blogs and email campaignStay on top of Web3 trends, conversations, and culture to keep us relevantBuild and maintain our content calendarAnalyze performance and iterate on what worksCome up with social media and community campaigns to boost engagement, grow reach and smart followersYou're a Great Fit If You:Have 3-5+ years of social media experience with proven results growing accounts and effective content strategyCan demonstrate strategic thinking - you understand the "why" behind content, not just the "what"Are deeply familiar with Web3/crypto culture and communities (smart followers, DeFi, yappers, infofi, etc.)Have B2B experience, ideally in tech or Web2Can write engaging copy that balances brand voice with viralityAre comfortable working independently while collaborating with our content teamHave a portfolio showing your strategic and creative workCan work in a very fast paced environmentBonus Points:You're active in CT and understand the dynamicsExperience working for a layer 1 or a gaming projectExperience at an early-stage Web3 companyYou've built brand positioning from the ground upBackground in content strategy or brand marketingWhy Join Somnia?Somnia is at the forefront of building a fully on-chain future.
