We’re building a brand that blends smart storytelling, creativity, and culture — and we’re looking for a full-time Social Media Specialist & Content Creator to join our core team.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Specialist & Content Creator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing social media content for all major platforms, creating engaging multimedia content, and executing social media strategies. This includes responsibilities such as tracking social media engagement, staying up-to-date with social media trends & algorithms, crafting posts for social media accounts, creating reports on social media performance, and editing our YouTube content. PLEASE HAVE YOUR REFERENCES, LINKS TO YOUR PORTFOLIOS & PREVIOUS WORKS IN YOUR RESUMES.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute pre-determined daily social media strategies across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter (X).Provide educated advice on new social media strategies.Plan and produce short-form content (Shorts/Reels) designed for maximum reach and engagement.Create and schedule regular graphic/video content to maintain consistent platform activity.Edit long-form YouTube videos (e.g., reactions, highlight commentary, or sports storytelling).Design eye-catching thumbnails, posts, and highlight reels using modern editing and design tools.Monitor trends, analytics, and platform algorithms to optimize posting frequency, format, and performance.Engage with audiences across platforms and help grow PlayMark’s community and brand presence.QualificationsProven experience managing social media accounts for a brand, creator, or media project.Strong understanding of social media algorithms across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter (X).Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve).Working knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, or Figma).Excellent sense of timing, narrative pacing, and social humor.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience in managing social media accounts.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to trends.Ability & willingness to work in flexible hours.At least 3 years of proven experience (highly educated & qualified candidates will still be considered if they have less experience).Proficiency in English.Bonus PointsA bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.Passion for sports culture, particularly American football (college or pro).Experience in sports journalism, sports media, or YouTube channel management.Understanding of analytics tools (YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, Meta Insights, etc.).Experience in scripting or storyboarding short-form content.BenefitsA U.S. dollar-based salary.Fully remote, flexible working environment.Opportunity to grow with the brand, early-stage team members will have long-term growth & promotion potential.Professional development opportunities.A creative, collaborative culture where ideas are heard and executed quickly.The chance to shape the voice and aesthetic of a new sports media company from the ground up.
