If you’re ready to lead standout social campaigns, grow engaged communities, and make a genuine difference for customers across NSW — we want to hear from you.What You’ll Be DoingEnd-to-end social media channel management, driving content, optimisation, and growth across key platforms.Leading content creation & ideation, including producing engaging video content from concept and scripting to filming and editing.Community management that leads with empathy, proactive engagement and a consistent brand voice.Using data, analytics and insights to inform content decisions, measure performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.Risk assessment and issues management, ensuring content is safe, timely, accurate and responsive to public sentiment and emerging conversations.Strong stakeholder engagement & influence, working closely with internal teams to align messaging, manage approvals, support campaigns, and guide best-practice social advice.Staying ahead of social trends and platform changes and championing new ideas and opportunities across the organisation.This role is initially offered as a 12-month opportunity with a start date of 02/02/26.You will be based in our Macquarie Park office approximately 50% of the time with occasional travel required.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack. About YouProven experience managing social media channels end-to-end for a large brand, organisation or public-facing entity.Demonstrated experience planning, producing and editing content for Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube.Exceptional communication skills, including community management and writing with a customer-first approach.Confidence using analytics, data and insights to shape strategy, improve performance and support decision-making.Experience navigating risk, issues and reputational considerations in a public or high-profile environment.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, bring others on the journey, and provide trusted social media advice.Ability to work collaboratively, juggle priorities, and deliver high-quality content at pace in a dynamic environment.Who We AreTransport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
