Job Description
OverviewThe General Manager reports to the SVP Europe and chief commercial officer.The key responsibility of this person is to drive the growth of the 3 countries, together forming the DACH cluster for Sodastream. Germany is the 2nd biggest Sodastream market with a long history of success. Sodastream is highly penetrated in Germany, and a large market share in CO2, but unfortunately we are not growing our overall business. We are looking for a seasoned General manager that can unlock the next level of growth for our business. And who can further professionalize the organization.The role will have a broad set of responsibilities including managing a total organization of approximately 100 persons. The GM DACH will be end to end responsible for the business in Germany, Switzerland and Austria across all categories of Machines, bottles, CO2 and flavors. Key will be to unlock growth in the market, by truly understanding the consumer, shopper and retailers in the region. To fully unlock the potential in the region, the GM will have to further professionalize all functions: with a key focus on sales, supply chain, ecommerce and digital marketing.
