Software Developer - Implementation of Oracle Utilities

Job DescriptionSeeking experienced Technical Designer/Senior Developer candidates to support global Oracle implementation projects. Candidates must be skilled in developing high-quality, efficient code from solution-driven designs, with the ability to incorporate automation and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize Utilities customer solutions. Experience translating functional requirements into technical specifications is a strong advantage.Qualifications3–5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Practice focus in IT consulting, systems development, or offshore services is preferred.Applied experience in Java, Groovy, or object-oriented software development and testing.Advantage: Experience in Oracle Utilities products, the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), or similar applications (e.g., Customer Cloud Service (CCS), Customer to Meter (C2M), Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Meter Solution Cloud Service (MSCS), Data Management (MDM), Work Asset Cloud Service (WACS), Work Asset Management (WAM)).Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, test automation, robotic process automation) and AI/ML technologies (e.g., predictive analytics, natural language processing, anomaly detection).Understanding of how AI and automation can enhance Utilities implementations—for example: Predictive maintenance for assets and meters. Intelligent customer engagement via chatbots and virtual assistants. Smart grid optimization using AI-driven forecasting. Automated data management and reconciliation for billing and consumption data.Good oral/written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI/automation solutions in business terms.ResponsibilitiesConvert Technical Design specifications into high-quality working code, incorporating automation where feasible to streamline delivery and testing.Prepare unit test documentation of scenarios/test cases. Perform automated unit and regression testing, leveraging AI-assisted testing tools where appropriate.Ensure the quality of deliverables through adherence to project standards and methodologies, including AI-enabled code review or quality-checking tools.Provide support during system testing, user acceptance testing, Go-Live and maintenance support phases, including the use of AI-driven monitoring to proactively detect issues.Assist in the clarification and resolution of issues as they arise during the design and development process, leveraging AI-based diagnostic tools when available.Contribute to project release activities and support automation of deployment and release processes.Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities where AI and automation can drive efficiencies, improve customer experience, or reduce operational costs in Utilities implementations.QualificationsCareer Level - IC2About UsAs a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow’s technology to tackle today’s challenges.
