If you’re enthusiastic, engaged, and ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Take ownership for successfully executing software tasks and projects given higher-level requirements or scopeDesign small modules following SOLID and other design principlesSelect, adapt, and apply appropriate algorithmsCollaborate with other team members and stakeholders to clarify requirementsGet the project done, hands-on and with other team membersAnalyze problems and synthesize solutions applying both technical skill and consideration of the business caseMust Haves:At least 5 years of professional software development experienceUndergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experienceExperience developing software in Python or TypescriptExperience with dev-ops: Jenkins, AWS, Bitbucket, KafkaExcellent computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms, databases, and/or distributed systemsA track record of success delivering complex software projectsAbility to communicate effectively with people in different roles. You are open to learning and mentoring.Nice to Haves:Data Science experienceExperience with Node.js, React, Dart/Flutter or a lower-level language such as C++Experience or introductory course in Machine Learning or Data ScienceWe’re confident you’ll find both plenty to contribute and lots to learn here at Alert Labs.
