Software Development Engineer in Test

As a Software Development Engineer in Test you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of Ananas platforms. You will be integral part of software engineering team to drive the automation testing efforts and improve software quality.Key responsibilities:Preparation of test scenarios, planning and organization of testing, preparation of testing environment. Automation of test scenarios (regression, smoke, e2e, integration, etc.)Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and test frameworks using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Executing automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues. Collaborating with the QA Manual team to identify test requirements and defining test strategies for new features and enhancements.Working closely with other team members to facilitate the integration of automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve testability, maintainability, and overall quality.Educating team about test automation best practices and working as an integral part of software development team (writing and maintaining code, creating pull requests, participation in code reviews and deployment).Essential skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field2+ years of professional experience as a QA Automation / Test Automation Engineer role or SDETProficiency in programming (Java)Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as TestNG Solid understanding of software development methodologies and Agile/Scrum processesKnowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, Git)Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQLExcellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitudeStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFluency in EnglishNice to have:Experience with GraphQLFamiliarity with performance testing (JMeter or similar)We offer:The opportunity to work on a complex, scalable in-house product from scratchA fast-paced, corporate start-up environmentModern engineering practices and standardsCompetitive compensation packagePrivate health insuranceAt Ananas, we believe that every great endeavor starts from the letter A.
