Software Development Technical Lead

MCS Group is proud to be working with a global business with a strong presence in Dublin as they seek a Development Team Technical Lead to establish and guide a software development function focused on scalable data platforms. This role combines hands-on technical architecture with team leadership, ensuring robust design, development, and delivery of high-quality data solutions.You'll define the technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and mentor a small, collaborative team of developers. A strong background in Python (including Pandas and PySpark) is essential, along with deep experience in data systems architecture, AWS, and modern development practices (Agile, CI/CD, OOP).12 month daily rate contract opportunity with strong opportunity to extend beyond that.
