Software Engineer - 12 months

Our partner is looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to lead the development of a scalable and robust Fee Calculator platform. This solution will process and model complex transactional data from multiple sources and support rule-based logic for fee evaluation. If you’re passionate about building high-impact financial software, this role offers a unique opportunity to design an end-to-end solution from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement a scalable “Fee Calculator” software solution, covering both front-end and back-end components, including logging, auditing, and multi-level user access.Build and maintain data transformation pipelines capable of handling high-volume transactional inputs.Develop rule-based engines to model and evaluate parameters such as scheme fees and interchange structures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple data sources and ensure high accuracy.Ensure compliance with financial data standards, validation protocols, and secure data handling.Knowledge & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.5+ years’ experience working in financial data engineering, card scheme analytics, or similar domains.Proficiency in full-stack development using frameworks such as .NET, Java, or Python.Experience in building and maintaining data transformation pipelines.Exposure to card operations systems or financial transaction platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially when working with complex and large data sets.Ability to map transactional data from various systems to create efficient operational models.Understanding of banking and financial services, particularly card operations.Understanding of interchange logic, merchant category codes (MCC), transaction lifecycle stages, and enhanced data submission.
