Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.Job DescriptionWe have an exciting new role to join our team as a Software Engineer, Backend Java, based from Budapest, Hungary.As a Software Development Engineer at Genesys, you’ll be responsible for helping to design and develop cutting edge software that utilizes journey analytics to help companies uncover insights and provide greater customer experience.You will be part of a distributed agile team of developers, QA engineers and product managers who thrive on solving hard technical problems involving massive amount of data to provide the industry’s best customer journey analytics platform.Our team is responsible for the whole lifecycle of the product, starting with being involved in product planning, through architecture design, implementation, deployment and operation. With this autonomy comes great responsibility. We are responsible for processing and querying billions of unique data points, to allow users to access it and analyze it.Hybrid working environment with a fancy office in downtown Budapest and the possibility to work from home.What do you need to be successful? Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum 2+ years of Java development experience Experience in AWS. We mainly use Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, EMR Serverless (Spark) services among others.Good understanding of Linux Experience in microservice design and implementation including API design and implementation.Attention to details.
