Software Engineer (Backend) Intern

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Backend) Intern. As a Software Engineer (Backend) Intern, you'll be part of the team that crafts, develops, tests, and maintains backend systems that power our products. You are passionate about understanding the business context behind every feature and eager to build solutions that drive better customer experience and adoption.What You’ll DoCollaborate with Product, Business, and Engineering teams to build and improve world-class products and features.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers.Learn and apply best practices in backend development, including modular design, testing, and code reviews.Assist in maintaining and improving existing backend services, including debugging and troubleshooting issues.Participate in team discussions and sprint planning to gain hands-on experience with the software development lifecycle.What You’ll NeedBasic understanding of at least one backend programming language (preferably Go or PHP); familiarity with frameworks such as Yii2 is a plus.Solid grasp of programming fundamentals — including data structures, algorithms, and clean code principles.Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and curiosity about performance optimization and large-scale systems.Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and continuously improve your technical and problem-solving skills.Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment.
