You will collaborate closely with the Design Language System core team, designers, and developers to ensure a consistent, scalable, and visually appealing user interface across Ledger digital products.The ideal candidate will have a passion for experience and design, an eye for detail as well as a deep understanding of front-end development and scalable code.What You'll Be DoingDevelop and maintain our design system in React and React Native.Help define best practices, guidelines, and documentation for UI components, accessibility, and performance.Collaborate with our designers to translate Figma designs into reusable, high-quality components.Ensure consistency across platforms (web & mobile) by establishing a robust design token framework.Advocate for accessibility and ensure compliance with WCAG and other accessibility standards.Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth by providing technical guidance and code reviews.What We're Looking ForCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.First Experience in Software Engineering, building and maintaining a library of UI componentsProficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptKnowledge of Web APIs and CSS features, as well as their browser supportExperience with ReactExperience with testing frameworksFamiliarity with design tools such as FigmaKnowledge Responsive and Adaptive DesignExperience with version control systemsAwareness of accessibility standards and best practices (a11y)Strong communication skillsNice To HaveExperience with Chromatic, ZeroheightKnowledge of TypeScriptFamiliarity with React Native styling specificitiesExperience building interactive & animated componentsBenefitsAt Ledger, we are dedicated to continually investing in our employees which is why we offer more than just salaries; we provide comprehensive compensation packages that include a wide range of benefits.
