In this role, you will play a key part in developing and scaling software solutions for advanced hardware set-ups involved in the manufacturing, characterization, and positioning of fusion targets. You will collaborate with a passionate team where vibrant teamwork is the foundation for creating world-changing technology.What You’ll Do:Lead, organize, or support projects from start to finishSet and gather requirements for software and hardware projectsDesign software architectures and frameworks for real-time applicationsDevelop robust, reliable, and maintainable software for hardware systemsParticipate in code reviews and uphold high code quality standardsDevelop scalable interfaces for users and applicationsTroubleshoot and debug software/hardware applicationsCollaborate cross-functionally to solve extraordinary technical challengesWho You Are:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or similar (Master’s degree preferred)Job experience preferred but not requiredFluent in English (speaking and writing)Proficient in at least one of these programming languages: C/C++ or PythonStrong understanding of software design patterns and best practicesExperience with databases and Linux operating systemsProficient with Git for version control and team collaborationPreferred: Familiarity with calibration, localization, and motion planningPreferred: Experience with ROS/ROS2Preferred: Knowledge of computer vision and machine learningCapable of clear communication and able to work both independently and with team goals in mindMethodical, organized, and proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-makingStrong hands-on mentality and attention to project detailsAdaptable, startup mindset, and ready to thrive in a dynamic environmentEnjoy collaboration and working closely with colleaguesReady to make an impact?
