Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.Job DescriptionLocation: For this role we are looking for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis from our office in Galway City, two to three days per week.We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join the Journey Data backend team, and help build products and services to bring the benefits of the Genesys Cloud Event Data Platform to Genesys customers.As a Software Engineer on the Journey Data Team you will work closely with a talented team of like-minded engineers and product managers to ideate, built, operate, and scale, impactful customer facing features across the full development lifecycle.In this position you will get the opportunity to work with modern technologies across the full development cycle, including a wide array of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Jenkins, New Relic, Sumo Logic, as well as proprietary Genesys software.Minimum Requirements:2+ years of experience in Software Engineering.  Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related disciplines.Programming experience with Java for backend development and service architecture. Experience using Cloud infrastructure, ideally Amazon Web ServicesSelf-driven learner, able to master new technologies in an agile environmentAbility to apply critical thinking and drive for quality in software developmentAbility to work in a distributed multi-cultural environmentExperience of CI/CD processes and technologies. Proactive, self-driven, and possessing a growth mindset.
