You'll be recognized not only for delivering robust, high-performance services but also for actively driving improvements in product quality and engineering processes.This is a role for engineers who thrive in fast-moving agile environments, embrace accountability, and are eager to work on systems that require performance, reliability, and scale.What You’ll Do:Take full ownership of backend feature development using Golang, from design through deployment and supportCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodology to refine requirements, estimate effort, and deliver value incrementallyDesign, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and performant microservices and APIsResolve reported defects efficiently while delivering features that delight usersDrive and uphold best practices in code quality, security, performance, and maintainabilityContribute to code reviews, documentation, and mentoring within the engineering teamRequired Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)3-5 years of experience in backend development with one or more of the following: C#/C/C++/Java1-2 years of professional experience with GolangStrong understanding of SQL databases (preferably MySQL), including query optimization and performance tuningHands-on experience with Docker, Git, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies (e.g., OpenStack)Nice to have:Experience building cloud-native applications on platforms like AWSExposure to GraphQL, RESTful API design, and service-oriented architectureKnowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetryExperience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Helm)Why Join Kaseya:At Kaseya, you’ll be a part of building a next-generation backup product from the ground up.
