Watch this quick 30-minute talk from our engineers to learn more about the new Camunda Exporter and how we’re solving complex problems at scaleWhat You’ll Be Doing Build, maintain, and release C8 distributions for our self-managed customers, covering Helm Charts (Kubernetes), C8Run, Docker Compose, and related documentation.Improve reliability and usability of our deployment artifacts, ensuring a seamless experience from local setups to production clusters and day-2 operations.Collaborate cross-functionally with Development Teams, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Documentation, and Support to deliver integrated, tested, and documented releases.Handle engineering-level support cases together with our support team to understand our customers issues and feed learnings back into development.Drive documentation and onboarding improvements - turning complex systems into clear, accessible instructions that help customers succeed faster.The Distribution team currently consists of 1 Senior and 3 Mid-level Software Engineers, operating with a strong manager-of-one mindset and cross-team collaboration.What You BringAbility and/or willingness to use our productStrong expertise in building, operating, and maintaining Helm Charts; deploying applications on Kubernetes; implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; and managing infrastructure as code, e.g. through Terraform.Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively across teams.A pragmatic and autonomous approach to programming and problem solving.You thrive as a manager of one - you build it, you own it - and take pride in delivering maintainable, operable softwareNice-to-havesExperience running and operating on-prem/self-hosted software on DockerFamiliarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tools.Working knowledge of the Go programming language.C1CompensationWhat We Have to Offer:We offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition.The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market.
