Software Quality Assurance Tester

We are a tech consulting company with more than a decade of experience in national and international projects in IT and Telecommunications – and we’re looking for people like you, who want to grow with us.🎯 We’re looking for a QA Tester?You’ll have the opportunity to join a challenging project in a leading company, with dynamic teams and a strong focus on innovation.What you’ll be doingDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design specifications.Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to the development team.Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the software.Participate in reviews of requirements and design documents to provide feedback on testability.Automate test cases where appropriate to improve efficiency and test coverage.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and methodologies.Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies.What you will need to succeedProven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Good communication and collaboration skills.Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.ISTQB certification is a plus.💡 Why be SMART?• We work on projects with real impact. • We value work–life balance. • We have a close, dynamic team with a growth mindset. • We offer a flexible work model. • Your development is our commitment.📍 Where can you be SMART?• Hybrid work model, with 2 days per week at the office in Porto.
