Software Test Engineer

About the RoleWe’re a growing tech company building mission-critical software for Telecom and Finance players. Our teams work on two major stacks — C# and Java.We’re looking for a Software Test Engineer who will help us ensure product quality, reliability and continuity in critical systems. If you care about quality, clarity, ownership and collaboration, you’ll feel at home here.What You’ll DoPerform manual testing of mobile and web applications.Design and execute test scenarios based on requirements and user stories.Create, maintain and run regression, functional and integration test suites.Report defects clearly, track them through resolution and verify fixes.Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure test coverage.Contribute to QA documentation, test plans and release readiness.Nice If You’ve Done This BeforeYou don’t need to know everything — but familiarity with these is a strong plus:Working in a telecom, OSS/BSS, network monitoring or service assurance environment.Understanding of network events, alarms, topology or root cause analysis workflows.Testing distributed, multi-component or data-flow-intensive systems.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, MIS, or a related technical field from a reputable university.3+ years experience in software testing (manual)Experience in writing clear test cases, scenarios and acceptance criteria.Solid understanding of testing methodologies and defect lifecycle.Experience using tools such as Jira, TestRail, Postman, or equivalents.Basic API testing experience (REST / SOAP).Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Curiosity, attention to detail, and ownership.Nice to HaveExperience with CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of SQL for data validation.NGSS – Next Generation Software & Services
