Solids Handling Equipment and packing units Engineer Santiago – ChileTécnicas Reunidas is a world leading international general contractor engaged in the engineering and construction of industrial facilities in the fields of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Energy Transition, Infrastructures and industries, etc. Técnicas Reunidas has worked and built all over the world, in 60 countries of the 5 continents.We are looking for candidates for the position of Solids Handling Equipment and packing units Engineer, with at least 10 years of demonstrable experience in this type of equipment in Mining Industry Projects. Candidates must have an extensive knowledge in all process and equipment involved in Solids handling systems and shall be able to assist EPC Company since the very beginning of the project, providing support to Engineering and Construction team, identifying all the requirements or limitations to understand the construction complexities and participating in the technical evaluation of the equipment.The Solids Handling Equipment and packing units Engineer will develop activities for specify, select and follow up of Solids Handling Equipment and packing units, ensuring the compliance with the technical, QA/QC and HSE requirements.Specific Tasks shall include:▪ Review project specifications and technical requirements▪ Prepare Solids Handling Equipment and package units technical documentation for inquiry▪ Review Vendor offers and prepare technical evaluations▪ Support procurement team in defining cost evaluation for equipment▪ Prepare Solids Handling Equipment and packing units technical documentation for purchase▪ Review, mark-up comments and finalize all vendor drawings, interfacing with other technical disciplines▪ Attend to internal review activities and participate in inter-discipline review meetings (P&IDs screening, 3D Model review, etc)▪ Coordinate and assist other technical disciplines to perform engineering activities providing technical information as utilities and electrical load list, layouts, etc▪ Provide support for expediting and testing activities▪ Provide support to project engineering for Client requirements providing technical information, attending meetings, etc.Requirements:Knowledge in the preparation of specifications, design, calculation, selection, technical evaluation of offers, inspection and tests of Solids Handling Equipment ans packing units.Experience in the application of Norms, International Standards, quality control plans and personnel management for the execution of projects.Knowledge of the different disciplines involved: Vessels; Heat Exchange; Rotating Equipment; Electricity; Instrumentation; Piping; Layouts; HSE.Main valuable personal characteristics are: leadership, proactivity, honesty, focusing on targets, excellency, team building and open to learn.Candidates will have the opportunity of developing a very specialized and technical skill within a collaborative team of professionals.This position is located in Santiago – Chile.Foreigners candidates must have permanent residence in Chile.In Técnicas Reunidas Chile, all our job offers are adhering to Chilean legislation (Law N° 21.015) that supports and encourages the employment of people with disabilities.
