You may be ready to join us.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing & Data Cloud Solution Architect who will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, solution engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-focused marketing automation solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Deliver executive-level presentations to secure alignment and buy-in. Lead workshops for process design and improvement to drive clarity and efficiency across teams. Design and implement Salesforce solutions (e.g., Marketing Cloud Engagement, Data Cloud, Personalization, Account Engagement) that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Review solution architecture for scalability, extensibility, and adherence to best practices. Develop technical integration strategies, including data flow and architectural diagrams. Create detailed implementation plans for new and existing clients. Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) projects to validate proposed designs and technologies. Partner with Solution Engineers to understand customer challenges and lead architecture or solution workshops. Present Salesforce technology capabilities to both technical and business audiences, highlighting platform features, security, and integration possibilities. Provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies that deliver measurable business value. Act as a strong communicator and advocate for Salesforce best practices across all organizational levels. Participate in ongoing training to maintain expertise and relevant Salesforce certifications. QualificationsDegree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field. 8+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and implementation, including both greenfield and brownfield projects. Strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Data Cloud (CDP), Personalization, and Account Engagement. In-depth knowledge of marketing automation tools such as Journey Builder and Automation Studio, and understanding of integrations between Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CMS systems. Experience in Data Cloud & SFMC setup and administration, including integration with third-party systems, Salesforce CRM, ERP systems, websites, and other data sources. Hands-on development experience in AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS, plus solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON. Fluent in German and English with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated technical affinity and enthusiasm for innovative digital marketing concepts. Additional InformationNice-to-HaveSalesforce certifications such as Marketing Cloud Consultant/Developer, CDP Consultant, MCP Accredited Certification, or Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator are highly desirable.
