Job Description

Resource Innovations is seeking a Solution Delivery Manager to join our growing team in California. As a Solution Delivery Manager with Resource Innovations, you will work with our team of Small Business Equity (SBE) Solution Delivery Managers, Operations, and Field Management teams to lead the management of SBE energy efficiency programs and ensure we meet and exceed client expectations. This may include leading program launches as well as managing established programs; tracking and ensuring deliverables are met; identifying and implementing program efficiencies; working cross-collaboratively with internal teams; and effectively managing client relationships. This highly visible position requires strong project management, leadership, client management, and people skills to drive program objectives and initiatives forward.To be successful in this role, a candidate must bring strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to manage complex client relationships and oversee multiple program initiatives simultaneously. They should be comfortable serving as the primary point of contact for major California utility clients, translating strategic goals into actionable project plans, and ensuring alignment across internal teams and external partners. Success requires the ability to forecast budgets, staffing allocations, and program performance while maintaining profitability and driving continuous improvement. With every step, we're leading the charge to power change.Duties And ResponsibilitiesProgram and Project Management:Serves as the primary point of contact for one or more large utility clients in California.Develops and reviews project proposals or plans to determine timeline, budget, project plan, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources.Coordinates with the senior leadership to establish work program plans and ensure adequate resourcing for each phase of projects and programs.Develops and tracks program budgets and metrics to ensure the appropriate level of effort is being spent based on program goals and resources.Forecasts spending (staff time and direct costs) and revenues for assigned programs and portfolios.Monitors and forecasts profitability of projects and programs.Develops and implements strategies to ensure program stays on schedule while meeting or exceeding targeted outcomes.Prepares timely and accurate project reports.Leads program implementation strategies to achieve project goals and encourage customers to implement resource efficiency projects.In coordination with senior leadership, works with clients on contractual requirements and program integration with broader energy efficiency programs in the sector.Oversees and participates in program implementation, including the development of reports and project deliverables.Tracks program information, including participation, contact information, project status, energy savings, goals, and budget expenditures.Performs program-level quality assurance and prioritizes which deliverables require review and at what level.Leadership & Business DevelopmentDirects and coordinates with project staff and cross functional teams to ensure overall program success.Ability to take theoretical outcomes and translate them to strategies, decisions and a final product. Requires ability to prioritize and make decisions quickly but effectively.Develops relationships with industry leaders and high-level client contacts to encourage them to implement cost-effective resource efficiency solutions.Conducts high-level analysis of data, markets, and policies and develops appropriate recommendations for RI and its clients and customers.Demonstrates an ability to work cross-functionally with other Managers responsible for similar initiatives, within the region and across the company.Takes an active role in defining and maintaining the company culture, exhibits internal and industry leadership, and provides meaningful input into strategic planning initiatives.OtherThis role may involve supervisory responsibilities.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsLocated in or willing to relocate to the state of California, preferably in greater San Diego area within 30 days of acceptance. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field related to environmental sciences, energy efficiency, or sustainability.A minimum of 5+ years of previous energy efficiency program management experience.Proven project management experience in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets and plans.Demonstrated experience providing innovative ideas and executing them to drive program demand and success rates.Experience working in California's Energy Efficiency Regulatory environment.Willingness to travel up to 10%.Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.Preferred Skills, Education And ExperienceMaster's degreeExperience managing small business energy efficiency programs.BenefitsAbout Resource InnovationsResource Innovations (RI) is a women-led energy transformation firm focused on impact. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000. In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes three weeks of paid vacation per year; paid holidays; a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching; health, dental and vision insurance; and other supplemental benefits.Employment with Resource Innovations is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check.
