This role requires someone with a blend of industry knowledge, design thinking as well as extensive experience in business process(es) optimisation and cost reduction.What you'll need?Degree in Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering1 - 2 years' experience in a Continuous improvement or process optimization environment.Experience in Production and Packaging, Warehousing, and Logistics/ FMCG and/or similar industries is essential.Yellow belt in six sigma advantageousProject management principles advantageousKnowledge of processes simulation and Business Process Mapping (BPM) principlesWhat you'll will be doing?Lead the assessment and analysis of client processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.Drive and manage process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives leveraging industrial/systems engineering principles.Design production and business processes that maximise efficiency, reduce waste and enhance both customer experience and business profitability.Update, formalise, publish and deploy processes and procedures across regions, ensuring consistency and regional alignment.Define process performance criteria (time, cost, value, response time) and benchmark current value-chains against “to-be” states to deliver measurable improvements.Conduct business impact and operational environment analyses, collaborating with line managers to assess change-impacts and support decision-making.Facilitate cross-functional sessions with stakeholders to develop, review and implement process designs, changes and business improvement initiatives.Manage and coordinate project implementation efforts — including setting up workstream interdependencies, risk management, stakeholder communications and achieving project objectives within time and budget.Coach, mentor and consult with business unit managers, project teams and continuous improvement graduates to embed re-engineering methodologies and build capability across the organisation.Conduct regular audits and ensure all processes, project documentation and activities comply with legal, regulatory and internal policy standards — while maintaining accurate documentation and monitoring performance via reports and dashboards.Why Join Us?We know great people have options – so here’s what makes this one worth your while:Ongoing learning & development opportunitiesA team that actually lives its valuesWe’re proud of our values-led, people-first culture where bold ideas are celebrated, and every role contributes to building a stronger, more inclusive workforce for South Africa.Ready to Apply?We’d love to meet you.
