Overview: As a Solutions Consultant/ Presales Engineer, you will take a proactive, strategic role in driving Netpoleon’s regional business growth. You’ll collaborate closely with the sales & vendor management teams, as well as independently, to recruit, enable, and empower partners, helping them deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions that keep their clients ahead of evolving threats and technology trends. This role requires a self-driven technical leader and trusted advisor who can anticipate customer and partner needs, identify new opportunities, and translate complex technical concepts into business value. You will play a key role in shaping solution strategies, influencing technology adoption, and ensuring the success of our partners across the region. Key Responsibilities: ·      Technical Consultation: Proactively engage with sales and product management teams to understand and execute go-to-market initiatives for supported technologies into the new and existing partner base.·      Solution Design: Lead the technical design and architecture of Netpoleon’s vendor technology solutions tailored to partner and end-customer requirements.·      Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging demonstrations and technical presentations that articulate the business and operational benefits of Netpoleon’s Vendor technology solutions.·      Proof of Concept: Lead the implementation of proof-of-concept projects to validate proposed solutions in the client's environment.·      Business Development: Create and maintain contacts and relationships with the partner community to help generate pipeline.·      Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and support teams to ensure alignment on solution capabilities and client requirements.·      Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies to continuously enhance your technical knowledge and skills. Qualifications:·      Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.·      5+ years of expert technical experience within a specific technology vertical such as networks, cloud, software, or cybersecurity.·      3+ years of technical experience within the cybersecurity technical controls vertical.·      Familiarity with Australian, New Zealand, and applicable cybersecurity frameworks and industry regulations.·      Proven experience in a client-facing technical role such as pre-sales engineer, solutions consultant, or similar.·      Experience in a client-facing technical role, such as Technical Business Development, Solutions Engineering, Pre-sales, or a similar function.   Preferred Qualifications:·      Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including C-suite executives.·      Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.·      Ability to execute, multitask, prioritise, and work unsupervised with great attention to detail.·      Experience working in a multi-national organisation with teams distributed across various time zones (APJ).·      Exposure to Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) which are compliant with industry standards, including ISM, Privacy Act 1988, PSPF, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC2 and/or NIST.·      Good sales and commercial awareness, with experience in positioning products and solution offerings, pricing models, and value propositions.·      Demonstrate a strong understanding of the corporate environment, as well as the key business and technology drivers.·      Comfortable communicating at all management levels, including C-Suite level.·      Can quickly establish credibility with internal and external teams.
