Place in the organisationWithin the General Management Department of the Norway under the authority of the Vice President Controlling AIS Europe. Rapports to the board of Directors and is a member of the Management Team. In the event of absence, will be replaced by the Administrator and/or Director for work that cannot be postponed.

Purpose of the role: The Business Controller is responsible for preparing reports, planning, monitoring financial and operational data, creating and adapting processes and management information, so all relevant information regarding the budgeted– and realised–costs, is available in a timely, correct and complete manner. Communication: Internal: General Managers, MT-members, team leaders and finance staffExternal: Accountant, tax authorities, insurance advisor, customers, bank and payroll administrationMain Responsibilities: Be a strategic partner and advisor to the General Manager in all business matters and apply a variety of principles, systems and tools toward the sustainable improvement of key performance metrics.

Support the GM in all business matters and act as a trusted advisor in line management and decision makingBuild and maintain a strong social and professional network within the organization in all functional areas (e. g. administration, R&D, sales, marketing, service and support)Actively use the OneGroup system for reporting, performance measurement, benchmarking, forecasting, and budgeting.

Supervises and coordinates the preparation of quarterly and annual reports according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Responsible for planning and control cycle, balance profit and loss, budgeting and annual reportFormulate short-term and long-term targetsSupervise financial management, cash flow position, deposit and payment traffic, credit managementMonitors the financial position and results of the companyManage the insurance portfolioIdentify trends, opportunities and potential risks and present them in a clear, concise and actionable manner (e. g. performance gaps, cost saving opportunities)Support HR Team in the related activities.

Work on special projects as directed by management (M&A)Weekly report to the general managerMember of the Management TeamKnowledge and experienceUniversity degree in the area of accounting, controlling. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position or external auditor and the potential to grow in the futurePreferably experience in a Big FourIT skills - Strong systems experience and knowledge IT infrastructure/systems process as well as knowledge in Microsoft Office especially Excel.

Experience using SAP CRM/ERP or Tagetik is beneficialMarket knowledge in the financial fieldPreferably knowledge of the medical sectorPreferably knowledge of the software sectorSpeak and write fluently: Norwegian and English
