Job Title: Senior Logistics Team Lead – BioAtrium (f/d/m)Employment Type: 80–100%, Full-TimePosition OverviewAn exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Logistics Team Lead to oversee logistics and waste operations within a state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of raw materials, equipment, and finished goods—while maintaining compliance with industry standards in safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing/Distribution Practices (GMP/GDP). This position involves leading a dedicated team and playing a strategic role in the continuous improvement and optimization of logistics processes.

Based in Visp, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced logistics professionals in the biopharma or life sciences sector. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and mentor team members in the designated logistics area. Oversee all logistics and waste management processes, ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP, safety standards, and other regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers by providing tailored logistics solutions that align with their operational goals. Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across all logistics functions. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other logistics teams across the plant.

Represent BioAtrium Logistics in cross-functional and site-wide projects. Foster a culture of change readiness, teamwork, and service excellence aligned with organizational goals. Contribute to building a vision-driven, customer-focused logistics team. Key RequirementsBachelor's degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is required. Additional qualifications in Warehousing, Operations, or Supply Chain Management strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a GMP-compliant logistics or supply chain environment. Experience in closing CAPAs and ensuring audit readiness is required. Training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence is desirable.

Demonstrated success in logistics or production supply leadership, ideally within a multinational or biopharma environment. Proven ability to lead people, manage performance, and drive team engagement. Strategic thinking with the ability to implement logistics plans aligned to business goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex operational challenges. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration. In-depth knowledge of GMP/GDP and transportation regulations (both local and international). A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency, cost optimization, and reducing lead times.
