Our interpreters from all over the globe facilitate transparent communication between people speaking different languages in the USA, Canada and the UK, ensuring messages are conveyed accurately and completely.Job description:As a Remote Interpreter Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI) and Video-Remote-Interpreting, you bridge communication gaps between individuals who speak different languages using video or audio technology. You work remotely, connecting people who aren't in the same location. Your role is crucial in various sectors, from healthcare and government to customer service, where clear and immediate communication is essential. You facilitate understanding in real-time, ensuring that language is not a barrier to accessing vital services or information. This work demands exceptional linguistic skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality. You are the link that makes cross-cultural communication possible.Job Responsibilities:Professionally conduct interpreting sessions and adhere to the Interpreter's code of conduct.Take detailed notes during calls and maintain awareness of industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in the healthcare and medical sectors.Provide accurate interpretations without adding, omitting, or substituting information.Deliver exceptional customer service and facilitate communication.Participate in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications.Requirements:Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual/ Native/ professional)Interpreting or Customer service experience is recommended.Familiarity with legal and medical terminology is advantageous.High school diploma in the Spanish language.Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.Technical Specifications:As this position is fully remote, you should comply with several technical requirements for your computer. We need to be sure that your home office will work effectively.Computer or laptop should be Windows 10 or newer, with minimum 6th Gen processor or AMD equivalent.MacOS Monterey 12.5 or later.The working machine should have a 8 GB RAM Minimum.WEBCAM: Minimum 1080p resolution. Must be built-in or external webcam connected through USB.
