Spare drivers must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per month. Spare drivers are paid according to the route they are covering.Job DescriptionSpare School Bus Drivers provide relief coverage when needed and are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. Spare Drivers must be able and willing to drive the routes that are available. Successful candidates must be committed to safety and customer service and will possess superior oral and written communication skills. Routes fall between the hours of 6:30 am - 9:30 am in the morning and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the evening.RequirementsValid Class 5 driver’s license (training provided to upgrade to a Class 2S)Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector searchOrganized, punctual, and reliableAbility to communicate effectivelyWorking knowledge of Wetaskiwin and surrounding areas and map reading skillsSafe driving record with less than 3 demerits
