Spatial and Environmental StrategistResponsibilities:You will work at the heart of the energy transition, where speed and a forward-looking approach are crucial.You will contribute to the substantive review of basic designs for compliance with spatial planning and environmental quality requirements and standards. You will also be responsible for reviewing and approving changes to the basic design in the subsequent design and implementation phases.You function as a knowledge carrier within the client's organization in the field of planning, legal, and environmental aspects in order to maintain unity and contribute to the dissemination and expansion of knowledge within and outside the departmentRegular coordination with spatial planning and environmental advisors/team coordinator in the Southern regionRegular coordination with the South relationship managerProfile:You have a university level of work and thinking in the field of urban planning, law, environmental science or similar and have at least 5 years of relevant work experience; You have a broadly developed knowledge of spatial planning / urban planning and the environment, including legal aspects; Preferably you are familiar with working with high-voltage infrastructure and the challenges for the coming years in the context of the energy transition; You are a generalist bridge builder with strong strategic and analytical skills who can listen, speak and write well; You can express yourself well orally and in writing in both Dutch and English;You have strong political acumen and can collaborate effectively with different disciplines and at different levels within and outside the organization. You have demonstrated the ability to manage conflicting interests, visions, and opinions.
