The number 1 Top Employer in South Africa.Certified by the Top Employer Institute 2024.Role Purpose/Business Unit:The purpose of the role is to successfully manage a regional Vodacom Regional Warehouse.Your responsibilities will include:Warehouse OperationsOversee the forward and reverse logistics process Oversee inbound and outbound equipment processes Conduct regular and accurate stock takes Enforce FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory principles Maintain compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and ISO standards Ensure high standards of warehouse housekeeping Plan and prepare for incoming stock to optimise space and readiness Weekly reporting. Inventory & System ManagementManage stock using the Network Stock Solution (NSS) or any approved WMS system Ensure accurate execution of WMS processes: receiving, shipping, put-away, site returns, packing, and asset management Monitor and report on:Stock levels and space utilisation (“Space Tracker”) Aging analysis and risk indicators (“Red Flags”) Roll-out execution and fulfilment rates Safety incidents and near misses NSS metrics: MRN rejections, order accuracy, and serialization accuracy Logistics OptimisationCollaborate weekly with regional project teams to forecast demand and monitor roll-out compliance Maximise visibility and utilization of equipment across regional warehouses Support road network optimization and reverse logistics initiatives Manage scrapping processes in line with policy People ManagementFoster a collaborative team culture aligned with Group Logistics strategy Maintain a healthy and engaged contractor workforce Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders The ideal candidate for this role will have:Matric is essential 3 year degree/diploma in Logistics / Warehouse / Supply Chain management field (not procurement), or relevant field is essential Minimum 3-5 years experience in logistics or supply chain management (essential).
