Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Obstetric and Gynecological Specialist with demonstrable expertise in laparoscopic surgeries. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care in both obstetrics and gynecology, with an emphasis on laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, patient education, and modern, evidence-based approaches.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settingsPerform advanced laparoscopic procedures, including myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, endometriosis excision, and hysterectomyDiagnose and manage complex gynecological conditions using a minimally invasive approachParticipate in labor and delivery management, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum careCollaborate with anesthesiologists, fertility specialists, and radiologists as part of a multidisciplinary teamMaintain detailed clinical documentation in compliance with DHA standardsEducate patients on surgical options, fertility preservation, and preventive women’s healthQualifications & RequirementsMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics & GynecologyBoard certification (e.g., Arab Board, UK MRCOG, or equivalent)Proven surgical experience in advanced laparoscopic gynecologyMinimum 5+ years post-specialty experience, including operating theater exposureEligibility for DHA Specialist License (Dubai Health Authority)Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantageDesirable AttributesFellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) or similarStrong communication and patient counseling skillsCommitment to continuing education and clinical excellenceComfortable working in multicultural, high-acuity environments
