$35 - 45/hrOur leading financial services client is seeking a Sports & Entertainment Talent Coordinator to join their growing team!This role, within the Sports & Entertainment team, involves managing the comprehensive vetting process for all talent requests from business units, encompassing athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and influencers. You will be responsible for vetting the background, media, and social media of potential Talent partners. You will then share the results of the vetting process, document all results, and chart the subsequent Talent usage by all business units. Successful applicants will possess a professional background in Public Relations, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, or Partnership Marketing.
Exceptional attention to detail and research acumen, organizational prowess and prioritization, brand acumen and risk awareness are all necessary skills and attributes required for this role. Responsibilities: Independently responsible for the thorough vetting and OFAC sanction checking of all Talent used by the firm (~20 names per week) using Klear/Meltwater. Identify and report potential risks and fit of partnerships with the company brand. Run weekly meetings presenting the results of all findings from the vetting process to leadership. Create weekly agendas for team meetings, provide meeting results, and monitor follow up process diligently with key stakeholders.
Work with key internal business groups such as Brand, Controls, Compliance, Legal, and Social teams. Management of Sharepoint inclusive intake forms/processes in compliance with Controls guidelines. Qualifications3-6 years in Public Relations, Sports Marketing, or Partnership Marketing. Proficiency in Klear/Meltwater (keyword analysis). Familiarity with OFAC sanctions. Social Media acumen (Instagram, Facebook, X, Tik Tok). Proficiency in Excel, Sharepoint are a plus. Organizational skills to manage hundreds of files, and track to deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present weekly to audiences of all levels.
Detail oriented note taking to provide comprehensive results of meetings. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize projects accordingly.
