Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Squad Leader in the OSG Client Services space to lead strategic digital initiatives that enhance the client experience and accelerate our organization’s digital transformation.As the Squad Leader you are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the squads’ mission and tactical execution associated with delivering on strategic priorities. In an agile structure, you will execute on specific product features and ensure respective products or services are available, stable, performant, and supported when required.You will ensure alignment on the 'what', 'why' and 'when' work is to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog along with other OSG and Technology Leaders. You will enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation, and learn from failures while celebrating success.Key ResponsibilitiesYou are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role. In addition, your responsibilities include:Defining, refining, and communicating the squads' mission and roadmap to motivate and build team and partner support and alignmentAnticipating, discovering through ongoing interaction with, and prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as their voice and guide execution of the teamDefining, evaluating, and communicating results against acceptance criteriaMeasuring performance through established critical metrics and deliver agreed upon business, technology, and people resultsInspecting and evaluating progress, and removing impedimentsDrive enhancement requirements, technical solution review, business acceptance testing, and implementation coordinationMaking informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost and timelinesThe Expertise And Skills You Bring7+ years of related product management experience, systems development, product development, and/or project/product managementFinancial services experience, preferredUnderstanding and comprehensive knowledge of operations within the Institutional business, preferredAgile experience, preferredBachelor’s degree, preferredYou take a data-driven approach to understanding client needs, you translate strategic goals into action, and prioritize to enhance value deliveredYou have a continuous improvement approachDemonstrate the ability to comprehend technical requirements and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across all teams.You are energized by working collaboratively to deliver agreed business outcomes, drawing on the expertise of colleagues to inform the approach and remove impediments to making progressYou are capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues without formal authority, and have a track record of building high-performing teamsDemonstrate strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration experience by establishing and maintaining unquestioning relationships across Fidelity to deliver business outcomesExhibit strong communication and presentation skills with business and technology partners and leaders at various levelsYou are intellectually curious and model a culture of learning and coachingJira and Jira Align experience, preferredThe TeamIn Operations & Services Group (OSG) Client Services, our vision is to Deliver superior service to our clients through exceptional transaction operations and delivery.As a member of OSG Client Services, you will help bridge the gap between our business and technology.
