This role will reside in our Markham Head Office.We have implemented a hybrid work environment and our head office is located in Markham, ON. Number of days worked in office is subject to role requirements. More details will be discussed during the interview process.What You’ll Be DoingKey member of Accounting department involved in month-end financial statement preparation. Responsibilities include (i) preparation of accounting journal entries including GL account reconciliations (ii) preparation of financial analysis for management review (iii) preparation of various management reports.Assist Finance team in preparation of quarterly consolidation package to the parent company.Preparation of quarterly and annual corporate operating cost budget, and related analysis of monthly budget to actual resultsAssist in the preparation of quarterly and annual project cost budgetsAssist in preparation of annual and semi-annual financial statements, including all related note disclosures, in accordance with IFRS. Assist in preparation of provincial and Federal tax filings.Assist with corporate income tax and sales tax audit requests.
