Popular Diagnostic Centre Ltd is looking for Sr. Audit Officer / Audit OfficerJob Description / ResponsibilityVerify daily financial transactions, cash, deposits, and bank reconciliations for accuracy.Audit diagnostic and medicine corner billing to ensure proper recording and authorization.Ensure branch-wise financial, operational, and compliance accuracy by performing Branch Audit.Audit diagnostic and medicine corner billing, including test bills, doctor consultancy, referral payments, and patient refunds.Review invoices, procurement, purchase records, and store issue records for correctness.Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile inventory, including medicines & consumables and also diagnostic center with software records.Monitor store operations for discrepancies between physical stock and system records.Conduct Income Tax and VAT-related audits for compliance.Review payroll, attendance, and staff files for compliance and accuracy.Conduct surprise cash counts and spot audits of sensitive departments.Identify irregularities, control weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions.Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and statutory regulations.Examine due collections, corporate accounts, and outstanding balances for timely recovery.Perform software-based audits for financial reporting, billing systems, and data integrity.Evaluate internal controls related to financial, operational, and inventory processes.Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure implementation of corrective measures.Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all audit activities.Educational RequirementsMaster of Business Administration (MBA) in AccountingMBA in Accounting or Finance or M.Com in Accounting/Finance. CA (CC) candidates will be given preference.Skills Required: Internal Audit, Accounts and Finance, Tally ERP 9Experience Requirements3 to 6 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Hospital,Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies,Diagnostic Centre,Healthcare/Lifestyle productAdditional Requirements Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP). Good analytical and report-writing skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Willingness to travel for branch audits. Must be honest, proactive, and a good team player.
