As part of the DHL Group, you will be working with a global network of Procurement colleagues and benefit from a wide range of development opportunities.We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Mexico City, Mexico.Job Purpose:This role is responsible for managing tactical purchasing activities within the assigned country/region.Your tasks:Facilitate purchasing transactions for business partners and divisional colleagues.Support the execution of Procurement strategies, ensuring timely and accurate acquisition of required products or services.Execute the Purchase-to-Pay process while ensuring compliance with global, regional, and local policies.Capture internal demand and manage non-catalog requests (NCR).Guide users in the active utilization of Procurement catalogs.Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Provide support activities when necessary.Support Activities within the Purchasing TeamAssist with purchasing activities.Support various tasks within the Purchasing organization.Offer first-level support, consulting, and training; act as an intermediary with second-level support teams.Assist in Procurement implementations.Main TasksExecute Procurement processes in line with Sourcing, Purchasing, Corporate, and Business Unit policies.Maintain accurate information regarding prices, catalogs, supplier data, performance, contracts, and purchase orders.Manage tactical purchasing processes (requisitions) within established SLAs.Conduct the “3 bids and 1 buy” process and support supplier selection based on price, quality, delivery times, payment terms, and specifications.Negotiate and execute contracts with awarded suppliers according to established guidelines.Manage supplier onboarding in systems and ensure data accuracy.Generate and analyze reports to meet KPI objectives; identify and implement catalogs to improve automation.Understand and contribute to category/country sourcing strategies.Provide training to business users.Validate requisitions for accuracy prior to approval.Relationship with Divisional ColleaguesCollaborate with requesters and Sourcing teams to understand requirements.Communicate proactively, providing requisition status updates and resolving queries.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal users.Advise users on low-value purchases without contracts in collaboration with Sourcing.Provide feedback to Sourcing on supplier performance.Contribute to successful relationships with regional and sub-regional Sourcing teams.Guide requesters on Procurement processes and systems.Support colleagues with similar roles and responsibilities.Build business relationships to strengthen market knowledge.Your profile:EducationUniversity degree and/or equivalent demonstrable experience.Required Experience0–3 years in roles related to purchasing processes.Basic knowledge of international trade.Familiarity with key market suppliers.Experience in supplier onboarding and catalog management.Understanding of negotiation principles and application.Knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier management.Ability to synthesize industry information and analyze suppliers.Purchase order administration.Execution of low-spend contracts.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience creating reports in Excel (pivot tables, formulas).Customer service experience (preferred).Experience with SAP and/or Oracle systems (preferred).We offer:Great opportunity to work for the biggest logistics company in the worldInternational and virtual environmentFlexibility and great opportunity to learnTempting Compensation and benefitsDHL is an equal opportunity employer.
