Sr Director of IT Strategy

Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a Sr. Director of Business Technology for a growing business unit to drive IT strategy and execution across underwriting, claims, digital transformation, analytics, and technical services. This leader delivers operational excellence and innovation, advancing technologies such as AI, automation, cloud, and cybersecurity while ensuring regulatory compliance. As a strategic partner to the business and Corporate IT leaders, the Director fosters agility, sustainability, and customer focus—executing with discipline, setting clear priorities, and holding teams accountable for measurable business outcomes.Required Qualifications:12+ years of relevant, progressive experience in IT leadership.3-5 years’ experience in senior leadership, leading director or manager level employees5+ years in any type of insurance, healthcare payer, healthcare provider, insurance brokerage, managing large cross-functional teams/projects and influencing senior management.Track record of delivering on AI/ML solutions that directly impact the business, NOT end user side.Must have live AI project experienceExpertise in managing priorities and delivering on projects to meet deadlinesProven experience leading application development and PMO groupsCompensation:$200,000 to $230,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
