A successful candidate will have a proven track record as a sales leader in the CPG industry, possess a driving passion for channel development, and engage a partnering approach with internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Develop and execute channel sales and marketing plans as well as multi-year revenue and profit strategies. Create and maintain joint business plans which reflect customer, consumer and channel needs. Lead the formation of multi-level business partnerships and negotiation of contracts. Perform core-selling activities including sales cycle management, price negotiation and financial reporting. Create new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships Manage day-to-day relationships with clients, brokers, and distributors. Be a highly visible leader with both clients and internal stakeholders. Involved in the implementation of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Requirements Minimum seven (7) years of strategic sales experience in a CPG/contract manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s Degree preferred ; High School Diploma required Ability to lead and prioritize projects, budgets, resources, and be highly accountable Time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to be self-motivated Strong verbal, written and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint) Customer focused, detail oriented, with strong analytical skills Consistent track record of forecast accuracy and understand the importance of inventory management Ability to travel 35% of the time Work EnvironmentMost work will be indoors with limited exposure to outside elements. There will be time spent on the Production floor and in the Warehouse tracking projects and components, so appropriate dress and safety requirements must be adhered to at all times. This position requires consistent and positive interaction with internal staff and customers.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles and some chemicals.The base salary for this position is between $110,000.00 and $140,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location.
