A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Mechanical Engineer at MKS Global Capability Center Bangalore, you will partner with R&D teams across MKS PSD Business Units to deliver & participate in product development projects including product specification, conceptual and detail design, thermal and mechanical analysis and simulation, design for cost & manufacturability, documentation, test plan development and release to production.You Will Make an Impact By: Modelling, design, and development of complex mechanical and opto-mechanical systemsComplete documentation of designs conforming to MKS documentation standards including detail and assembly drawings, BOMs, design review presentations, and reportsApply GD&T and best practices for material selection, design trades, and tolerance studiesPerform fundamental thermal/structural analyses to inform design decisionsSkills You Bring:3D CAD experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM, AutoCAD preferred. Knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical hardware designs and ability to build and test prototypesExperience with new product development and Engineering Change Order processesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and with cross-functional teamsPreferred opto-mechanical product experience
