Sr People OperationsReports To - Chris Gage (Head of Finance)Location - Draper, UT preferred, Remote okAbout The RoleWe’re looking for a Head of People to help scale Jump through its next phase of rapid growth (150to 250+). You’ll partner with leaders and teams to shape and support our People practices—from talent development and onboarding to performance, employee experience, and culture—helping align our people strategy with the needs of the business. This is a mission-critical, strategic role that will directly shape Jump’s ability to scale effectively while remaining a world-class place to work.You’ll work closely with leaders and teams to strengthen Jump’s ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent—especially in a fast-moving AI and SaaS landscape.Employer Brand - Partner with Talent Acquisition and leadership to strengthen Jump’s employer brand—helping us attract high-caliber talent as we scale. Support initiatives that raise Jump’s visibility in the startup and AI ecosystem. People Systems & Operational Infrastructure - Maintain and optimize our HR tech stack (ATS, HRIS, equity management), create scalable processes for onboarding, performance management, leveling, compensation, and compliance. Culture, Leadership, and Org Design - Work with leaders to bring Jump’s values to life through operating norms, rituals, and team practices. Partner on internal communications, leadership development, and engagement, while advising on org design that balances growth with clarity and cohesion. About You5+ years of experience in pre-IPO SaaS companies You are a builder and a scaler. Implemented and Scaled People Systems & Ops Infrastructure - You’ve designed and optimized the full People tech stack—HRIS (e.g. Rippling), ATS, equity management (e.g. Carta), and performance frameworks. You’ve built systems for onboarding, compensation, levels, compliance, and reviews that scale. Embedded Culture and Internal Communications at Scale - You’ve taken values off the wall and embedded them into daily habits, rituals, and team norms. You’ve owned internal comms, run engagement initiatives, and built leadership alignment in times of scale and change. Proven Strategic Partner to Leaders – You’ve partnered closely with founders and executives as a trusted advisor. You’re data-informed, skilled at navigating complex org and performance conversations, and focused on driving outcomes that advance the business. Delivered at Startup Velocity - You’ve operated in hypergrowth environments. You move fast with sound judgment, flex between strategy and execution, and take pride in producing high-quality work.
