Sr. Quality Engineer

We are growing and needs the help of a seasoned Software Quality Engineer to support our critical mission of growing and maintaining tests, including the development of test cases, test plans, and test scripts. You will conduct automation testing for backend APIs ensuring core functionality and overall stability. You will work with our backend engineers and wider functional teams on a comprehensive approach to quality with a focus on scenarios that can be automated.Key Responsibilities:Analyze complex systems and troubleshoot test failures to quickly identify root causes.Design, develop, and maintain high-quality automated test scripts and test cases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environment to ensure timely and high-quality releases.Champion testing best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies and processes.Develop and execute API tests to validate business logic and data integrity.Conduct load and performance testing to ensure scalability and reliability.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or similar.Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to validate requirements and ensure test coverage. Required Qualifications:8+ years of experience in quality engineering with a strong focus on test automation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.Solid experience in test case development and execution.Proficiency with test management tools such as QMetry or equivalents.Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Pytest etc.Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or similar.Familiarity with load and performance testing tools and practices.Proficient with GitHub and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.Working knowledge of AWS services like EC2, DynamoDB, and IAM.
