We are looking for someone to be responsible for managing our software subscription renewals, which need to be carried out in a timely manner and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward and delivering exceptional value to our customers.HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:Manage a book of software subscription renewal business, aligned by quarter, with the goal of closing the sale of all renewal contracts prior to contract expirationMeet quarterly, half year, and annual targets associated with an assigned book of renewal businessMaintain direct engagement with channel partners and customers throughout the duration of a contract's lifecycle to identify and eliminate potential obstacles to timely renewalWork closely with internal organizations such as inside/field sales, customer success, and channel sales to ensure assigned renewals are closed on timeDiscuss renewal prices with customers and acquire customer commitment on updated terms, if necessaryGenerate and manage sales opportunities and quotes in SFDC, providing timely updates reflective of the sales cycle and any challenges identifiedCollaborate with external partners, distributors, and resellers to enhance the renewal experience for customersParticipate and present in customer quarterly business reviews to strengthen customer relationshipsAccurately forecast expected renewal business each quarter and identify renewals at risk of closing on time. Investigate and document loss reasons for renewals that do not closeWE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:3+ years of experience in renewals and/or salesDemonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision makingExperience negotiating with, and selling to enterprise IT buyers in a quota carrying sales roleExtensive knowledge of enterprise software sales, software subscription services, or software as a service licensing methodologyProficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (mainly Excel), and other CRM toolsFamiliarity with enterprise procurement processes, specifically for IT-related spendingDemonstrated track record of personal development, increasing responsibility, and the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving and demanding environmentAbility to clearly articulate Cohesity's value through written and verbal communicationBachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experienceData Privacy Notice for Job Candidates:For information on personal data processing, please see our Privacy Policy.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer (EEOE)Cohesity is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
