Job Title: Software Developer (VLE & EdTech Systems)Location: Islamabad LiaisonOrganization: London School of Science & Technology (LSST)Employment Type: Full-Time | On-siteWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PMApplication Email: momna.ashraf@lsst.ac with subject line .Urgent Hiring – Apply as soon as possible About the RoleLondon School of Science & Technology (a UK-based higher education institution) is seeking to fill the following positions for its Islamabad Support & Liaison Office, operating under the name Fairfield Global Education Network (Private) Limited.We are looking for Software Developer (VLE & EdTech Systems) to join our growing team.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable, secure software applications in alignment with institutional needsCollaborate with technical teams in the UK and Pakistan to deliver robust software solutionsDevelop clean, maintainable code using Python, JavaScript, and modern frameworksParticipate in version control, code reviews, and deployment processesSupport the integration and maintenance of student management systems (e.g., SMS, SITS)Assist with software-related IT support and internal technical troubleshootingSupport infrastructure monitoring, backups, and cloud-based tools where necessary Required Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field5-8 years of professional experience in software developmentProficiency in Python and/or JavaScript and modern frameworksStrong understanding of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript etc)Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and building RESTful APIsFamiliarity with Git and collaborative development workflows IT support capabilities (hardware, networking, systems troubleshooting)Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skillsProficient in English (written and spoken)Preferred SkillsExperience with educational systems such as SMS or SITSExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practicesKnowledge of academic data structures and digital education systemsUnderstanding of security protocols and best practices in software environments
